Background
The health of the population is critical to the well
being of any country. Not only are the technical
aspects important, but so too is medical
administration and delivery of those services. Good
health beneficial to the patients affected and
contributes significantly to the economic health of
the nation. Health care in the United States is one of the largest industries, with many different
facets, and affects nearly every resident. Health
care services are provided to everyone in a variety of
venues and financial arrangements.
How can the CEI program help?
The administration of the vast U.S. health care system
can be of interest to administrators in developing
countries as they seek to find the most effective
means of delivering services to their populations.

Participants will be able to meet with industry
executives, medical providers, and others in order to
learn practices and procedures that work well and
those that should be avoided. This information will
enable them to upgrade their own systems and thus to

Where will the CEI program travel?
The CEI economic development mission will travel
mainly in the Cincinnati and surrounding areas to visit its first-class medical
